TARP/ARRA Funds

For a venture capital-backed biofuel technology start-up company, assisted in developing multi-million dollar ARRA grant proposal to the Department of Energy. As part of this effort, worked with the Controller to create an indirect cost rate structure, identify unallowable costs, and to calculate the resulting indirect cost rates. Also identified necessary business process improvements required to establish appropriate controls over grant funds under ARRA and other contract clauses.
